So I've actually gotten a couple illustration jobs in real life and this was one of them. My friend Laura works at the head office of a retail store we both used to work at, she does kind of the layout/graphic design stuff for the company. They send out flyers and stuff advertising their closet designs (their predominant source of revenue) and other organizational products. Her boss wanted to try something different and have little cartoons in their advertisements so she asked me if I could draw something up for them. This is the second piece I did for them, the first was a girl showing off a closet design. This was for a Mother's Day thing they were doing advertising purses, so it's supposed to be a mother and daughter. I didn't get paid for either one of them but I didn't really care, I just wanted to get my drawings out there to more people and companies. Hopefully they'll wanna use me again and I might get some money for the next one lol.
