Lokie

Ugh! Finally! I've been working on this on and off for like 2 weeks! Jeeeeeezus! Anyway, here it is. I'm actually kinda glad I took so long cause I really love how it turned out. It might not look like there's a lot of detail but trust me, this is like the most detailed piece I've ever done. I think it's quite beautiful, the mix of bright and dark colours (omg! light blue!? I didn't even know she knew that colour existed!). I originally wasn't even gunna do a background, cause I usually don't, but then I got this idea in my head about the sky and like the sunlight shining behind her, kinda like she's hovering above something.

For those of you that don't know, this is Loki (I added an 'e' for the girl thing) personified as a girl. Loki, in biblical mythology, was the angel of death. He/she was in charge of dealing out God's wrath. And as you can see, her weapon of choice is a firey sword. Ya ya, I know, I suck at weapons, whatever. I wanted her to look very pretty and innocent looking cause that's the way I would've pictured her. I mean angel's are supposed to be good looking, right? Even though they're really small and you can hardly see them, I LOVE the eyes! I was originally gunna do them blue but decided to make them red instead. They're fuckin shaded and everything! See? I did do detail. Pretty much all of my drawings' eyes are black.

Anyway I hope everyone likes this. It took me a pretty long time and I'm fairly happy with it (but then again I'll probably hate it in a few days). It'd be nice to get a few favourites from this *hint hint*
